For a 770, 576K is required by the system and nobody has yet
said that the 600 differs, so, if you use LILO try adding
append="mem=130496K" to /etc/lilo.conf, rerun lilo, then
reboot.  Or you can do this from the LILO prompt at boot
time just type mem=130496K after your selected OS name.
