Hi:

I'm encountering problems with my X server running on battery power.

Steps to Symptoms:

1.	Boot RH 6.0 (2.2.9 kernel) on TP 770X under battery power (boots
fine).
2.	Attempt to run startx (running XInside's Accelerated X (4.1.2 w/
patches))
3.	Mouse dances all around the screen (shouts interrupt?) and X is
unusable. (Note that if you switch to a virtual term, with gpm loaded, the
mouse is fine)

Now, If I boot with power connected, everything works fine in X. It's
unrelated to pcmcia I think (I originally thought it had something to do with
my network card). If I change to the XFREE86 server, the mouse does not dance.
So it is definitely something to do with AcceleratedX running from a "battery
boot". I say boot because that's all that matters. If I have the power ON
when I boot, and later (before running X) unplug it, and then run X, X runs
fine. If I boot w/o power, then after booting, plug it in, and try to run X,
the mouse dances all over the screen.

Has anyone else seen this (type of) behaviour, and do you have any suggestions?

This is becomming a real pain.

Thanks for any and all suggestions.

Mark
