Hi,

I'm having some problems getting my modem (an IBM V.90 model with XJack
that, according to IBM is neither a winmodem nor a mwave modem) working
under linux. I added a section to /etc/pcmcia/config to recognize the
card and start serial_cs, but when I insert the card, I get the
following message in /var/log/messages:

Jul 28 11:27:45 frinkiac cardmgr[204]: initializing socket 0
Jul 28 11:27:45 frinkiac cardmgr[204]: socket 0: IBM, V.90 PC Card Modem
with XJACK
Jul 28 11:27:45 frinkiac cardmgr[204]: executing: 'insmod
/lib/modules/2.2.10/pcmcia/serial_cs.o'
Jul 28 11:27:45 frinkiac kernel: serial_cs: RequestIO: No more items
Jul 28 11:27:46 frinkiac cardmgr[204]: get dev info on socket 0 failed:
Resource temporarily unavailable

Does anyone know what's going on?
