Rob,
Thanks for the help. The first two commands accurate describe my card and
drivers used. I do not have a network.opts file at all. Since it appears
that file is needed how do I create it?
Thanks

| I am new to Linux and have just installed Red Hat 6.0 on my 770X. The
PCMCIA
| support seems to work (the system beeps when I insert a card) and the
light
| on the card comes on but the light at the hub does not. All I get when I
| type ipconfig is the loop back address. I cannot get it to work at all.
Any
| help would be greatly appreciated.

Is cardmgr running?
Does "cardctl ident" print out an reasonable description of your card?
Does "lsmod" indicate that drivers are loaded for your card?
Does /etc/pcmcia/network.opts contain the correct info for your network?
