Kernel panic help ?!

Hi all,

I have RH6 that installed just fine on my 770z w/ 14"
screen.  APM works to soe extent (FN-F4 only) - but it
kills my Xwindows session when invoked.

Anyway, my problem, I shut down for the night and came
in the next morning only to find I can no longer boot.
 The only thing I can think of that may have caused a
problem is adding the following line to LILO to see
the additional memory since it has 128:

append="mem=127M"

My system reports no CPU or memory and give some
errors codes.  I am lost and don't know where to
begin.

Help please!
