The link should actually have been http://www.e-oasis.com/linux-tp.html.

I will put a link to this page, but the latest entry there is was posted
in 1998. Also the information is IMHO okay for people with Linux
experience but for a beginner I think that more is needed than just a
collection of configuration files.

At Linux-ThinkPad.org I want to have FAQ, maintainers for pages that
releate to the various models, ideally the maintainers should have the
machine for the page(s) that they are maintaining.

There will obviously be a links page for off-site resources, and who
knows, maybe someone will want to set up a "www.jpn.think-thinkpad.org"
or similar for national language support, or if someone says that they
are prepared to implement a "www.tp600.think-thinkpad.org" then I will
gladly have those names added to the domain.

I just want to spare others the problems that I had with my 701, 760 and
770 while trying to find assistance and information.

As I said in my other mail, I can't realistically do this kind of thing
on my own, I can only hope that others feel the same way I do.
