     I see that Dr. Geert Janssen mentioned if you need help to write him.
I suggest you take him up on his offer. He seems to have a very good handle
on the 770Z and the quirks with it. I can personally attest to his expertise and
how much time he has spent on the machine.

     My humbled recommendation on dealing with boot management:
Get PowerQuest's BootMagic. http://www.powerquest.com/bootmagic/index.html
Otherwise things can get messy pretty quickly...like the 4 primary partition
limit,
among other problems.
