I called Sun Support and they indicated that Solaris on a notebook would be possible if you didn't want to use the PCMCIA subsystem. Which is not acceptable to most people. If you want to use it, you might be able to, but you won't have network connectivity or anything else that requires PCMCIA cards. Best regards, Carl D. Speare
