Hi,

I am trying to get my Thinkpad 600 working with a monitor.

I have compiled 2.2.12 and I have followed the X setup instructions in the IBM
Tpad 600 HOWTO. It all worked wonderfully.

I can plug it into my 21" monitor and use a text console without any problem,
but as soon as I fire up X the monitor goes dead. The Thinkpad screen continues
to work fine, and I can use my Window Manager without any problems. When I close
X down again I can use the monitor for text again.

Does anyone know what I need to do to enable my monitor when I want to use it ?
I use it through a port replicator, but I still get the same problem when the
monitor is directly attached into the back of the Thinkpad.

I ultimately want to be able to switch between Windoze and Linux at work without
having to unplug it from the docking station and use the LCD instead.

Thanks,
Joe
