    You have to come to the source for this info first!! :)

     I run Linux on my i1460 and it works very well.  The issue at hand is 
what video chipset is in the 1250.  Everything else should be fine.  Do you 
know which video chipset it has?  (Perhaps someone else on the list has one?)

      In any case, Linux runs very well on the i series overall.
