Here's mine (from a TP X20 running RH7):

alias parport_lowlevel parport_pc
alias usb-controller usb-uhci

alias eth0 3c59x

options thinkpad enable_smapi=1 enable_superio=1 enable_rtcmosram=1  #

Yeah, that's what i got too:

  Bus  0, device  10, function  0:
    Ethernet controller: 3Com Unknown device (rev 32).
      Vendor id=10b7. Device id=6056.
      Medium devsel. IRQ 11. Master Capable. Latency=80. Min
Gnt=10.Max Lat=10.
      I/O at 0x2000 [0x2001].
      Non-prefetchable 32 bit memory at 0xf4011400 [0xf4011400].
      Non-prefetchable 32 bit memory at 0xf4011000 [0xf4011000].
  Bus  0, device  10, function  1:
    Communication controller: 3Com Unknown device (rev 32).
      Vendor id=10b7. Device id=1007.
      Medium devsel. IRQ 11. Master Capable. Latency=80. Min
Gnt=10.Max Lat=10.
      I/O at 0x2400 [0x2401].
      Non-prefetchable 32 bit memory at 0xf4011c00 [0xf4011c00].
      Non-prefetchable 32 bit memory at 0xf4011800 [0xf4011800].

It works for me. Hey, maybe you wanna try building your kernel &
modules with the .config i'm using? If so, you can get it from here:

	ftp://ftp-eng.cisco.com/dash/tpx20_config

i'm still fiddling with it, so if you make any improvements (like
figuring out how to get sound to work) let me know.

   Good luck,
	- dash
