Hey, I had given up hope for an ACP modem driver.
But here it is, just in time for Christmas.
Thanks a lot to the folks at IBM!

I have got so far as being able to speak "AT" to the
ACP modem on my ThinkPad 600 (51U) with Linux 2.2.18.
I'll try to connect with my ISP later today.
