I have installed the alsa drivers on my TP600E 2645-4A0 configuring with

--with-sequencer=yes --with-cards=cs461x

/etc/conf.modules and /etc/isapnp.gone are set according to Thomas
Hood's
page (thanks a lot Thomas, I found your page very useful !). The
outcome is

Feb 8 10:16:17 lt28 alsasound: Starting sound driver: snd-card-cs461x
Feb 8 10:16:17 lt28 alsasound:
/lib/modules/2.2.13-14/misc/snd-card-cs461x.o:
Feb 8 10:16:17 lt28 alsasound: done
Feb 8 10:16:17 lt28 alsasound: invalid parameter snd_isapnp
Feb 8 10:16:17 lt28 alsasound: snd: Device or resource busy
Feb 8 10:16:18 lt28 alsasound: alsactl:
Feb 8 10:16:18 lt28 alsasound: Cannot open configuration file
'/etc/asound.conf'...
Feb 8 10:16:18 lt28 rc: Starting alsasound succeeded

Recompiling the alsa drivers both with --with-isapnp=yes and with
--with-isapnp=no
(and modifying /etc/conf.modules accordingly) leads to exactly the same
behavior.

Any idea how to fix the problem ?

thanks in advance,
Nicola

following Thomas Hood's
scheme. sndCS 4610/11 and I have installed the ALSA
drivers
