[ltp] Strange pauses on Thinkpad 240

I'm trying to use Red Hat 6.1 on a Thinkpad 240 (type 2609-31U), and
every few seconds (2-3) it seizes up for a fraction of a second. Any keys
pressed during that time or mouse movement is not handled. If the shift key
was down when it seizes up, and released during that time, once it resumes
it thinks the shift key is still down.

The easiest way to demonstrate this behavior is to hold down a key in an
xterm, and watch the pauses in the auto-repeat.

Has anyone else seen similar behavior?

Thanks!
Eric
