Yes

depmod -a
depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in
/lib/modules/2.2.13/thinkpad/thinkpad.o
depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in
/lib/modules/2.2.13/thinkpad/smapi.o
depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in
/lib/modules/2.2.13/thinkpad/superio.o
depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in
/lib/modules/2.2.13/thinkpad/rtcmosram.o

insmod thinkpad; insmod smapi; insmod superio; insmo rtcmosram
Using /lib/modules/2.2.13/thinkpad/thinkpad.o
Using /lib/modules/2.2.13/thinkpad/smapi.o
Using /lib/modules/2.2.13/thinkpad/superio.o
Using /lib/modules/2.2.13/thinkpad/rtcmosram.o

lsmod
Module Size Used by
rtcmosram 1728 0 (unused)
superio 5944 0 (unused)
smapi 2744 0 (unused)
thinkpad 3324 0 [rtcmosram superio smapi]

tpctl -ib
information about bios and system:

rmmod smapi superio rtcmosram thinkpad

tpctl -ib
tpctl: module required for request is not loaded.

lsmod
Module Size Used by
thinkpad 3324 0 (autoclean)

It seems that the autopload of the modules doesn't work, but once
the modules are loaded, everything works.
But what is this about the "unresolved symbols" ?
