No.  But I did think of something else, and it may be the FTP server is
"freezing" after the "rollover" of the packet count.  I doubt that this
is happening, but does this problem occur at EXACTLY the same file size?

This used to occur at about 2MB because of the size of the counter, but
this should not occur until a file gets about 2GB.
