Hi,

I have upgraded the RAM on my TP600E 2645-4A0 from 64MB to

192MB. Both Windows and, booting with the mem=192m kernel

argument, Linux, recognize the 192MB and work fine. The only

probem is that, under Linux, suspend, standby and hibernate

do not work (Ctrl F3, Ctrl F4 and Ctrl F12 just do nothing).

Moreover I cannot switch off the laptop after shutting down

(except using the reset button under the main switch).

If I boot without the mem=192m argument Linux works perfectly

(suspend, standby, hibernate and switch off after shutdown)

but the system only sees 64MB. Do you have any idea how to

fix the problem ?

best regards,

Nicola
