recompile the kernel. Don't configure the tropic chipset support  as
module.

Hello,

   Are any of you using an IBM Auto16/4 Token Ring card with RedHat 6.0 (or
6.1 - I'm actually using 6.1 kernel)?

   I get LOTS of oopsen when I try to insert the card and I have to hard
reboot...  3com ethernet works fine.  it's just this driver that's doing
something.  Any recommendations on a driver to try?
