[ltp] Thinkpad 755CX terminal garbage

as of 4am this morning, I was able to get the 755CX to boot into dos, set
the screen to full-size, boot into LInux and setup X.

yay.

Only small problem I see now is some clutter on the very bottom row of the
screen while in the Linux console (not X). I have old boot messages popping
up there, strange swatches of color, etc. But it works ok other than that.

Any ideas? BIOS update? Use MSDOS instead of FreeDOS?
