   Yes ACPI is in 2.3 and will be official in 2.4 from what I last read on
the acpi list and the kernel list.  I can't say that I've experienced
problems putting mine to sleep but I generally don't want it to sleep
anyways.  it acts almost as a server for me sometimes.

   I haven't tried SWSUSP.  I'm glad it works for you though.  This is a
definite plus.  I'll try to get a note on my page about this.

    General note: has anyone else had problems with their i1460 spontaneously
rebooting, or in general just locking up often?  I just sent mine in for
repairs today.  It's really messed up.  Just touching it (anywhere -
keyboard, screen (side or top), base, or even a serial cable that's plugged
in) makes it either freeze or reboot.  I assume it's a static problem but I'm
not a Thinkpad Engineer. :)
