It appears to me an issue of simply running out of IRQ's. You haven't
left a single one available to assign to the PCMCIA modem! I'd
comment out "exclude 12", and maybe "exclude 9"... Or maybe
run my parallel port with no interrupt (i.e. release IRQ 7).

At my home I print via Ethernet anyway. (:-)
