[ltp] Freezes SuSE 7.1/7.2 and TP T 21

thank you very much for your reply. I was close to giving up but I
tried it again due to your mail and now it seems to work. Haven't had
a crash for about a day and a half.

I'm now running SuSE 7.2 with XFree 4.1.0 and it looks like I just
made a silly mistake with the XF86Config file: I was aware of the
Savage bug and the workaround for it but I put the "ShadowStatus"
line in the "ServerFlags" section instead of the "Device" section
where it belongs... :(

Also, I had no idea that I could use the Lucent driver for the Xircom
modem part of my combo card. Thanks for the pointer, I'll try it in
the next days!

PS: Just curious - is the 2647-9FG really the same model with a
different MiniPCI card or do they have different BIOSes maybe?
