[ltp] Freezes SuSE 7.1/7.2 and TP T 21

I have SuSE 7.2 with KDE 2.2 and if I log into KDE as root I get a red
desktop with only the trash on it. But other than that everything
seems to work fine. I'm quite sure this is on purpose to remind you
that you shouldn't start an X session as root.
