Added this line and rebooted but no effect. Then I tried to load the
module but it gives me some kernel mismatch:

newbie# modprobe thinkpad
/lib/modules/2.4.0-4GB/thinkpad/thinkpad.o: kernel-module version
mismatch

/lib/modules/2.4.0-4GB/thinkpad/thinkpad.o was compiled for kerne
l version 2.4.0
        while this kernel is version 2.4.0-4GB.
/lib/modules/2.4.0-4GB/thinkpad/thinkpad.o: insmod /lib/modules/2.4.0-4GB
/thinkpad/thinkpad.o failed
/lib/modules/2.4.0-4GB/thinkpad/thinkpad.o: insmod thinkpad failed
