Hi,

I've been lurking for a while and this list seems to provide lots of good
information. I hope someone will be able to help me solve my problem.

I recently purchased a T23 and installed Redhat 7.2 without much grief.
But I can't get the wireless networking to work. My laptop comes with an
IBM High Rate Wireless PC Card. Running cardctl ident shows this card
attached to Socket 0. The card is listed in SUPPORTED.CARDS in the PCMCIA
package so I believe everything should work. In fact I know it can work
because it did when I installed Mandrake 8.1 (but then I had lots of
trouble getting X to work).

I get the two "beeps" at boot time indicating PCMCIA initialization was
successful. But I just can't seem to get networking to work.

At home I have internet access via a cable modem which plugs into a
Linksys etherfast wireless AP + cable/dsl router. I have wireless
connectivity under windows.

I've read the PCMCIA HOWTO, but I'm afraid I need some more assistance.
Can anyone offer any help?

Thanks,

Cameron
