Yes I know that one. My main problem is solved as I switched to 16bit
display. 24bit seems to have been too much though that's what I use with
Win98.

I still have some drawing errors, mosty when I mark text in netscape but
it certainly is usable now.

I am afraid the whole point of my upgrading X was to get rid of the
framebuffer device. I don't know how many RAM and what processor to have
but I found it really to slow.

I am sorry, I don't even have a floppy drive.
