  Actually I think someone did email me saying that they worked on a version 
of Debian.  It's only the X server so it should be ok I think.  The source 
patch is there too.  However, I highly recommend upgrading to XF86 4.02 if 
possible.  It will allow you to use Xv extensions and play dvds in a 
nearly-reasonable manner.
