[ltp] changing resolution

I have a 770Z running RH 6.2 out of the box.

I frequently have to do presentations hooked up to a vga projector and I've
been doing them using Windows because I frequently have to change screen
resolutions (down to 640x480 at times) to accommodate older projectors.

How can I change screen resolutions on the fly in X ?
