[ltp] Thinkpad (Butterfly) 701's

I'm about to commence an odyssey, namely to get some Thinkpad 701's (the
famous butterfly keyboard)expanded, optimized and loaded with useful OSes
and software. I'm commencing with an upgraded CPU and RAM.

Does anyone receiving this list have experience with 701's?
