[ltp] mwave: kernel-patch 2.4.6 doesn't compile

Hello

I downloaded the mwave-patch for kernel 2.4.6 and applied it.
during kernel-configuration I choose to compile it as "built-in".

during a "make bzImage" I did receive the following error:

does anyone know what caused this?
why do I need a kernel patch in the first place?
