[ltp] Ethernet card problem on a i1452, RH 7.1

Ravi,
Here are the contents of my ifcfg-eth0:
DEVICE=eth0
BOOTPROTO=dhcp
ONBOOT=yes

What other parameters should be set?  
I can ping the proxy server.  It's address is 63.237.214.42.
I can also ping other machines on the network.
I could never find any place in Netscape to set a proxy machine name.
Any ideas?  Thanks again.
