yes, your mbr is corrupted. to corretly reinstall lilo you have to
boot linux with a rescue floppy and run lilo again. if you have a floppy
with a kernel and lilo installed, you can try to boot passing to lilo root=/dev/hda? as parameter, where '?' is your root partition.
