Hei,

Not 100% TP related but. I have a 600 which works REALLY well :-) However
I'm having some problems with the pcmcia and serial ports.

OK. I run vmWare and need it to connect to the serial port /dev/ttyS0 ?
However this doesn't work.

I have a modem in PCMCIA slot 0 which I sometimes swap for an Adaptec
SlimSCSI 1460B card. The pcmcia hot swap stuff seems to work and cardctl
recognises the cards.

Attached to the SCSI card is a Philips CDD 3600 CD-writer.

Now for the questions... :-)

1. is there a conflict with how the modem is set up and the serial port?
ie: is the pcmcia model ttyS0?

2. I can't recognise nor know how to find out what SCSI devices are
attached to the card. My kernel 2.2.18 does have SCSI support compiled
   in.

thanks

Ian
