[ltp] Problems with a mandrake X on a 600x

Hey everyone, I just recently installed Linux Mandrake 7.2 , but even if I 
installed it in the graphigue mode, after the boot I can't start the X. I 
tried Xconfiguration, but I can't find even one confguration then work.

If I try to start X whith startx I have err message like VGA monitor or 
unknow SVGA monitor.

Anybody know why it does this?
