I was playing with top on my TP i1200 (Debian 2.2 with Kernel 2.4.3) and i
noticed the process
kapm-idled doing over 25% of the cpu.

I think it's a kernel daemon (maybe apm=advanced power management???), but
it seems so expensive for cpu usage...

Any idea?

Cesare.
