[ltp] vmware full screen mode on a T-20?

i had it working a while back.  i think the trick was not to use the
framebuffer for the console--i.e. just boot to one of the default vga modes.
it's something to do with the DGA extensions or something like that.

btw, that was with XFree86 3.3.x.  not sure if it works yet with 4.x.
