[ltp] Recomendations on the "best" distribution for TP

No win modem drivers are known to work with the i1200 ones; from the
documentation inside the ltmodem-5.78e.tar:

This kit will FAIL to support currently known winmodems 
with chipsets produced by 
  Conexant ( with former Rockwell technology)
  Motorola ( is still developing a driver for Linux)
  US Robotics ( has not as yet announced intentions)
  Recent (1200 series) IBM Thinkpads contain
an Agere (nee Lucent) soft modem which is not supported
by this driver; it is apparently possible to indentify it
by an "Intel" manufacturer ID in the output of the
(see below) command
