Really the setup of a kernel is machine specific and depends on what you
want. There are only a few things you must have the rest you can play
with. You need hard drive support and ext2 filesystem support.

Which kernel you using? 2.2 or 2.4 ? You are welcome to have a copy of my
laptops 2.4 config if you like...
