This is the short term fix..
I can't find the link that I had for the notice that they will change the boxed
version slightly. But when I do I'll post it..

Marcus,

Where did you hear that from (shelf version Man 8.0 mouse works on
TP600). I'd like to confirm it. I was thinking of getting the off the
shelf version to help
support Mandrake (not to mention, getting a bunch of goodies that
install easily when I want to).
