[ltp] USB Mouse broke after sleep A21m

I have Drake 8.1 running 2.4.8 and I also have 2.4.13.
Both of these kernels seem to have a problem with the
USB not working after waking up from a sleep.
Everything is fine still wake up.

Also I have still have never been able to get my
trackpoint to work from Mandrake 8.0 till now. 

Any ideas would be helpful cause I am stuck. I still
don't fully understand the workings of all this
sleeping and hibernating. I did load apm, apmd. 

This is running on a A21M dual with MS ME also on the
disk.
