[ltp] USB Mouse broke after sleep A21m

In my experience, with a TP A22p, I upgraded Mandrake 8.0 to 8.1, and
the trackpoint works perfectly now. (I use all the configurations as
default).

As for suspend/hibernate, I have found the following:

apm -S or close lid or Fn-F4 all cause the machine to "doze off". It
wakes again after about 20 minutes.

apm -s or the Suspend option in KDE->Power control->Laptop power
control cause a proper suspend-to-RAM (and the crescent-shaped LED on
the thinkpad comes on). It can be awakened by pressing Fn on its own.

I've never investigated suspend-to-disk (aka hibernate) - I can't really
see that it's very useful.

Fn-F7 is a better way to turn off the screen than Fn-F3, as even if the
machine re-awakens, the screen stays off.

Hope that helps a little - sorry I can't advise about USB.

Richard
