[ltp] CRT and LCD at the same time?

I have had CRT and LCD working at the same time on a T22, 1400x1050 in
Win2k.  I remember I couldn't get both with true colour, but I could with
high colour (16 bit) - maybe something to do with video memory? - but that
doesn't make sense to me.

I switched between the three modes (LCD,CRT,LCD+CRT) with Fn-F7.

I was pretty certain I could with linux too, but I can't be sure, and I
don't have a CRT at home.  I'll try tomorrow.
