[ltp] Soundcard on 380D : Got it working before?

Hi,
I'm after information!
Has anybody here got the sound on a 380D(or simalar) going nicely with the 
kernal drivers?
I am using the cs4232 driver, but it doesn't play my mp3's properly. it 
skips all the time, like it plays every second 3 times. 

If you have got the sound working, could you please say weather you have 
used the OSS drivers or ALSA etc.. what your setting are, and if you can 
play mp3s?
