Hi,

I've been running Slackware 8.0 and Win2k on my
Thinkpad (i1412 366 celeron 160 ram). I think it will
be time to buy a new one pretty soon. I was looking at
the A series, possibly the A22p.

Does anybody have any advice on the A-series and what
options I can live without?

I was reading a review for the A22p and it said that
the resolution was too good for a laptop and that all
the fonts are too small. I want to use the machine
mainly for graphics, programming(PHP,web stuff), and
entertainment ;). And I'm wondering if I can design
web pages at such a high-resolution since most still
have 800x600?

At the warehouse:

They have an older thinkpad A21M for $1399, good deal?

Thanks,

Ciao :D
