[ltp] t22 w/ rh 7.1 + xwindows = no vts?!

Its definitely a problem with reinitializing text mode. I have similar 
problems on my desktop with an old Voodoo Banshee card in it. I'm guessing 
its a driver bug. About the only thing to do is poke around and see if you 
can find a patch... If you're unlucky though it could be specific to certain 
chipsets. Some AGP/PCI bridge chips have crankiness. There may just not be a 
fix.
