Booted w/o vesa fb - hibernate -> overnight -> resume:

Locked up as before, but this time with display corruption in a narrow grid
of green and red vertical and horizontal (respectively) lines occupying the
top ~0.5cm of the screen, so it died, but even more so, in a manner of
speaking...
