OK, if you didn't flash a newer BIOS, then that's not an issue.

Since you didn't flash a newer BIOS just before having problems,
you don't need to look for an earlier BIOS.

Did the system work after you installed the larger disk drive?

What change triggered the problem?  All I was saying is that backing
out the change that triggered the problem will likely make it go away.
