I think what he means is that clients like KMail, which I use, can simply be 
told "This folder is for mailing list X" and then when you reply to anything 
in that folder, it will always go to the list. Dunno about other clients, but 
it is a fairly handy feature to have, and in general I don't even notice 
which header is which in various MLs.
