[ltp] External resolution...

Hi everyone,

I have a T30 which supports a resolution of 1400x1050 on the CRT, and
2048x1536 on an extermal monitor. My only problem is I don't know how to
get that resolution. I can get 1400x1050 on the CRT, but it falls to
1280x1024 automatically on the external monitor.

I'm using Mandrake 8.2 with WindowMaker. I've modified my XF86Config-4
to support a USB mouse, but I'm not sure what to do for the external
monitor. I'd like to be able to 'cycle' through the resolutions since
the external monitor might not always be the same.

Any advise, how-to URLs, etc. would be greatly appreciated. :-)

Thanks,
js.
