[ltp] RedHat 7.3 on IBM ThinkPad 600E

I have Slackware 8.1 on my TP600E now.
Works very good but I have problems with hibernate and/or suspend !
I wish to install RH 7.3... some suggestions for me ???
Please help me... I know just Slackware... never used RedHat X.x on my
computers !!!!!!
I don't want destroy my notebook with lm_sensors... :-(
Can you send me a little 'step by step' installation guide ???
